Growing up with my Parents and 2 sisters, there was always plenty of work to do on the farm! Feed the chickens, and working animals, run from the bull, feed the cows,horse’s, goats, catch a rabbit. In the summer we had to pick the Garden but also had to put up wood for the winter. There was not a pool or a place to swim, but Mother made sure we learned how, at the YMCA. We stayed very busy! I bet daddy wished he had 3 boys instead of 3 girls, as much as we complained! He also loved us, and that’s all that matters. He came home one night and said, ‘We are going to build a Lake House!’ So we did! He wanted a place that Family would all come together. From New Years Eve to Christmas, Year round Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, Graduations, Football Party’s or Just hang out and swim on those hot summer days. There was always something going on at the Lawrence Lake House ! Before he died he asked that we celebrate his Life, not his Death ! So we did, We hired a Band! The Lawrence Lake House A Great Place to Celebrate!
